Abstract:
A brief description of the scientific goals and preliminary results related
to the 11 July 1991 eclipse at La Paz is given. The white-light corona was a
maximum type with a very faint, but more complicated structure in the inner
corona. Large, well developed helmet streamers were observed in the SW- and NE
quadrants extended nearly up to 10 solar radii. No remarkable CME was observed.
A plasmoid was seen above the north solar pole.
