Scientific position in the Stellar department

There is a free scientific position available in the Stellar department. The position is open from October 1, 2025.

Requirements for candidates:

PhD degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics or Theoretical physics
- alternatively: the applicant must defend the PhD thesis before the start of the contract
skills in observing and/or programming
experience in the investigation of the close binary stars and/or multiple stellar systems

The applicants should provide:

document confirming the PhD degree of the applicant, confirmation of successful defense of the PhD thesis
(before the start of the contract at the latest)
curriculum vitae
motivation letter
recommendation letter
list of publications
list of citations
