V1047 Cen: The first Z And-type outburst observed
in the classical nova binary

ABSTRAKT / ABSTRACT :

In my seminar, I will try to explain that different types of
thermonuclear explosions on the white dwarf surface can occur
in both symbiotic stars and cataclysmic variables, although
the composition of these types of interacting binaries is
extremely different (e.g., orbital periods of years and hours,
respectively).
   In particular, I will present the arguments that the 2019
outburst of the classical nova V1047 Cen (Nova Cen 2005) is
of the Z And type -- the type of explosions that have so far
been observed exclusively in symbiotic stars.
